Robot Party is a short animated film inspired by Ray Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains. It’s set in a world where the apocalypse has already happened, but the smart house hasn’t noticed. The robots keep going—serving food, cleaning rooms, following their routines—completely unaware that no one’s left to care. I wanted to bring some humour into that darkness, so I played with a stylised environment and gave the scenes a slightly absurd, surreal tone. The sound design and music are original, created to reflect both the emptiness and strange charm of a party that keeps going long after the guests are gone.
